We bought each child a fleece jacket, floor covering for the sleeping areas and biscuits.
We returned to the school a year later to find that all the blankets, pens and books were still being used. We had received a postcard from the Principal informing us that the winters were getting colder. There was a real need to cloth every child with a warmer garment. A tailor agreed to produce fleece jackets for each of the children at a discounted price. These were distributed, with three large floor coverings and biscuits on the 11th Jan 2009.
